Swiss calibration body SCS 0067 > currently paused<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In addition to the manufacture of gauges, ISATOOL AG operates a calibration service in accordance with the EN ISO\/IEC 17025 standard for the measurement quantity length.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The initial accreditation of the calibration body (SCS 0067) took place on August 14, 1995, in accordance with the Swiss Federal Council ordinance on the Swiss accreditation system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The objective of the calibration body is to align the cost-benefit ratio with the needs of the customer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In order to ensure exactly this, we have, with a heavy heart, decided to postpone this year\u2019s audit and suspend the SCS accreditation. The direct and indirect audit costs, which have increased significantly in recent years, are currently not economically sustainable for us without resulting in price increases for our calibration services. However, increasing service costs for our trade does not correspond to our philosophy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We therefore have to inform you that, as of August 1, 2025, we will temporarily no longer be able to issue SCS certificates.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Optionally, instead of SCS certificates, we can issue inspection reports, whose measurements are carried out in accordance with our calibration procedures as for SCS calibrations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We also continue to maintain the management system in accordance with EN ISO IEC 17025 unchanged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As soon as the economic situation stabilizes, we will carry out the audit and resume SCS calibration with our laboratory, presumably in a few months.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
