Metrology technician / Production mechanic (m/f/d)
100% (dual function, 50% each)

Immediate start or by agreement, permanent position 100% in Horgen ZH with dual function, 50% each

Measuring laboratory / TRIMOS and SIP length measuring machines / IAC Masterscanner / CNC lathe / conventional metalworking machines

As a dedicated mechanic, do you enjoy the challenge of calibrating not only the gauges manufactured in our company but also customer gauges in the measuring laboratory, while producing individual parts with the highest precision in the workshop? Have you internalized the fundamentals of metrology, and are you familiar with handling length measuring machines? Do you see working on a CNC lathe, operating conventional metalworking machines, and handling welding torches as a welcome addition to your work in the measuring laboratory? Then be sure to read on!

We have been manufacturing our highly precise gauges, known beyond national borders, for over 70 years at our location in Horgen. As our new team member, after a thorough onboarding phase, you will become a key pillar in our manufacturing process.

You bring

  • Completed apprenticeship as a production or polymechanic EFZ
  • Experience in CNC programming directly on the lathe (ideally with a HURCO control)
  • Cross-functional thinking and acting
  • Despite broad experience, willingness to continue learning
